Book sales terms

Seller and scope

Äerdschëff asbl, Luxembourg RCS F13900, 1, rue du Lycée, L-8508 Redange/Attert, Luxembourg. Contact: team@aerdscheff.lu; +352 671 161 663. These terms cover physical books bought remotely by a consumer. They do not govern donations or booking requests.

Books, prices and orders

Each listing specifies the title, language, price and availability. Mention of a translation in preparation does not mean it is on sale. Before any commitment, the summary must show the total in euros, any charges, the offered payment method and delivery arrangements. You must be able to correct your details before placing an order with an obligation to pay. Confirmation must be provided on a durable medium.

Prices are stated in euros, inclusive of applicable taxes. Books are subject to VAT at 3% where Luxembourg VAT applies.

Collection and delivery

Orders of fewer than 15 copies are available for collection only at Äerdschëff, 1, rue du Lycée, L-8508 Redange/Attert, Luxembourg. Collection remains available for orders of 15 copies or more.

Orders of at least 15 copies qualify for free delivery within the Greater Region, within 7 days of order confirmation. Delivery outside this area is not offered.

Returns address

Books may be returned to: Äerdschëff asbl, 1, rue du Lycée, L-8508 Redange/Attert, Luxembourg. The withdrawal conditions and deadlines are set out below.

Real sales remain closed in this version. The displayed availability must reflect the stock actually offered for sale.

Withdrawal

For a distance purchase of a physical book, you normally have 14 calendar days after receipt to notify us that you are withdrawing, without giving a reason. Write to team@aerdscheff.lu or the association’s registered office. A clear statement of your decision is sufficient; the model below is optional. Exercising this right does not require prior permission from the team.

Return the book within 14 days after notification. You bear the direct return costs if you were informed of this before ordering. Amounts due for reimbursement, including initial standard delivery, are refunded within 14 days after notification. Reimbursement may be withheld until the book is returned or you provide proof of dispatch, whichever occurs first. The same payment method is used unless you expressly agree to another method without fees.

Delivery issues, conformity and complaints

Report problems to the team with your order reference. Statutory delivery and conformity rights apply independently of any commercial warranty. These terms do not reduce mandatory consumer protections. For an unresolved dispute, you can contact the National Consumer Ombudsman service for information about mediation options.
