We are delighted to announce that the Äerdschëff building has been shortlisted for the Luxembourg Architecture Award 2026, in the ‘Building Sustainability’ category.

This nomination is a wonderful recognition of a project that has been exploring a different way of building and living for several years. Inspired by the Earthship concept and adapted to the Luxembourg context, Äerdschëff combines bioclimatic architecture, the reuse of materials, resource self-sufficiency, low-tech solutions and collective learning.

But beyond the building itself, this nomination also highlights a vision: that of a more resilient society, founded on the sharing of knowledge, civic engagement and ecological transition.
