Organise an Expert-Citizen Forum in your high school
Learn how to design, organise, and facilitate an Expert-Citizen Forum to transform ideas into concrete projects. This comprehensive program guides you from conducting a citizen survey to facilitating a participatory forum, all the way to implementing local solutions.
Why is it important?
The Expert-Citizen Forum is a participatory democracy and active education tool that develops critical thinking, intercultural cooperation, and civic skills. This training gives participants the means to make their voices heard, transform their ideas into collective priorities, and contribute to the ecological shift within their school and their region.
By the end, you will know how to:
- Connect citizen knowledge and institutional expertise.
- Identify and prioritise collective issues based on a field survey.
- Design and facilitate an inclusive forum with formats such as the World Café or the Fishbowl.
- Form a consortium (students, teachers, associations, experts) to co-construct solutions. Draft projects and mobilize funding (LEADER, BNE) to take action.
