Climate Pact 2.0 at School
Why is it important?
The Climate Pact 2.0 workshop is designed to help school communities better understand the challenges of climate change and initiate collective actions to reduce their carbon footprint.
By acting together as a community, we can truly make a difference in the face of the climate crisis.
We begin by exploring the key goals of the Climate Pact 2.0 through real examples of environmentally friendly school practices, especially in areas such as energy use and sustainable mobility. Then, in small groups, participants will identify the impacts of climate change and discuss concrete actions the school can take collectively to address them.
Learning objectives
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
-
Understand the goals of the Climate Pact 2.0 and how they can be applied in schools
-
Identify practical actions that the school community can take to reduce its carbon footprint
-
Develop collective action plans focused on energy and mobility
-
Collaborate on local and sustainable solutions tailored to their school
