We are looking for: Project and Training Manager
Context
Äerdschëff asbl supports citizen initiatives aimed at greater ecological, social and economic resilience. The Äerdschëff public building, inspired by Earthships and adapted to Luxembourg standards, is a platform for experimenting with and disseminating sustainable practices.
As part of its projects, the non-profit organisation is strengthening its activities in non-formal education, territorial development and citizen mobilisation.
Main tasks
1. Management and coordination of the LEADER project
- Ensure the planning, implementation and monitoring of LEADER project activities.
- Ensure that objectives, deadlines and budgets are met, in conjunction with local and institutional partners.
- Ensure communication and promotion of the project results at regional level.
- Prepare interim and final reports (technical and financial).
2. Development and facilitation of educational programmes
- Design and facilitate training and awareness-raising activities on ecological transition, shared governance and low-tech practices.
- Adapt formats to different audiences: young people, teachers, citizens, communities.
- Use active teaching methods and systemic approaches to encourage participation and co-creation.
- Contribute to the capitalisation and documentation of educational content.
3. Collaboration and local roots
- Work closely with educational, associative and institutional partners.
- Support the development of synergies with other regional projects in the areas of the circular economy, training and social ecology.
- Participate in representing Äerdschëff within networks linked to non-formal education and ecological transition.
Candidate profile
Skills and experience
- Proven experience in managing European or regional projects (LEADER, Interreg, Erasmus+, etc.).
- Strong command of non-formal teaching methods and participatory approaches.
- Knowledge of ecological transition and social innovation issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Ability to facilitate collective processes.
- Excellent writing and organisational skills.
Languages
- Proficiency in French and German and/or Luxembourgish (professional level).
- Knowledge of Portuguese is an asset.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field related to education, the environment, social sciences or project management.
Working conditions
- Permanent contract
- Full-time possible (minimum 30 hours)
- Location: Äerdschëff, Redange-sur-Attert, with occasional travel.
