Forum Theater: What if the audience became agents of change?
On Saturday January 31 and February 7, Äerdschëff asbl invites you to an unique collective experience: a day of Forum Theater at CITIM in Luxembourg City, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Here, you don’t sit in the dark watching a story unfold. A scene opens, a standoff situation arises… and the audience steps in. Anyone can get on stage, try out a different approach, suggest an alternative, experiment with a different outcome. We debate, we explore, we search together! 🎭
Forum Theater, based on Augusto Boal‘s Theater of the Oppressed, is a powerful tool for addressing social, environmental, and civic issues based on real-life situations. No theater experience is necessary: curiosity and a desire to participate are enough!
Why come?
- To experience a participatory, accessible, and stimulating event
- To collectively explore courses of action in response to real-life situations
- To meet other committed citizens, associations, and actors
- To feed the collective imagination and move from debate to experimentation
Whether you are a curious citizen, a member of an association, a student, a teacher, or simply looking for new ways of thinking about collective action, your place is on stage… or right next to it.
