Become a Self-Builder of an Intermediate Lightweight Vehicle

Looking for a low-impact, practical, and repairable mode of transport—hand-built by you? Presenting the MoskitOS, an open-source, lightweight trike designed for comfort, crafted largely from wood to reduce carbon footprint and make DIY building more accessible. This license-free vehicle combines mechanical ingenuity with ecological simplicity.

Why Join the Adventure?

– Learn by Doing: You’ll explore technical drawing, hands-on assembly, mechanics, woodworking, machining, and bike tuning.

– Reduce Your Impact: The MoskitOS promotes local repair culture—perfectly aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.

– Take Home Open-Source Plans: All blueprints and tutorials are available to replicate or improve your trike—and share it freely!

– Join a Movement: Cyclists, fablabs, and Luxembourg’s Repair Cafés are rallying to grow the MoskitOS community.
